I've been going to this place for 40 years. The coffee is great but they no longer have the fruity-oaty "mazurkas" that I crave. Nobody else does, either. Cortado FTW.

True Seattle flavor, one of the last bastions of how this town used to be, funky and cool, a bit flouncy with erudite wit and wisdom -but isn't that what coffeehouses are supposed to be?

An 8oz coffee is a nice small boost for when you need to get back to hacking after dinner (but not stay up all night)

Go to the second floor. It's less crowded and WiFi is way faster.

Seattle's Oldest Espresso Bar tucked in the alley way between 15th and University Way near the UW. With strong coffee, plenty of space, and a well stocked pastry case it's a great place to study, hang out or discuss your next great idea with strangers. Weekly entertainment upstairs.
