The burger is a riff on the Juicy Lucy-style cheeseburger; that is, the cheese (Roquefort) is inside the patty. It's so good that Philadelphia restaurant critic Craig LaBan wrote a song about it.

Cheesesteak empanadas are great! Good selection of beer. Good bartenders but can be a bit of a wait especially during HH. Will have to come back to try more of the menu.

Great menu and reasonably priced - had a hard time deciding what to order. Went with the drunken hummus to start and it was delicious! And the burgers have blue cheese in them - yum! Chill atmosphere

Def loved the window spot upstairs! Interesting ppl everywhere (not to mention the strip club across the street/down the alley!) GREAT beers. The Mac n cheese and meatloaf are to DIE FOR! will be back

Quality of meat, toppings, and fries on the burger were superb. But the bun falls apart pretty quickly.

The meatloaf entree is better than a meatloaf entree should be. It's one of my favorite meals. Enjoy it with one of their many local drafts. They also have one of the best burgers around.

The burgers are obviously phenomenal. Beyond that, I recommend dialing up some mashed potatoes (ask for the chicken jus to throw on top).

Hands down on of my favorite bars in Philly. Solid tap list - they always seem to have Lagunitas on tap! Great bartenders. Great food. Can't ask for much more!

It’s mostly a hipster gathering place these days, but the beers are still great, the menu is killer, and if you time it just right, you can have the entire third floor to yourself.

Love this bar. Great craft selection and surprisingly good menu. Check for daily specials and snag a booth seat upstairs. Private bar on each floor.

$12.50 The Good Dog Burger is a classic. 1/2 of house ground sirloin stuffed with roquefort cheese and topped with caramelized onions served on a toasted brioche bun.

Good beer selection. Laid back atmosphere. I wouldn't order the flatbread pizza again it was small and a little over done. Burgers are the way to go here.

Second floor tends is less friendly. First floor has same food, better atmosphere. 1/2 price cans wed and fries are amazing! Great salads too

Food was a bit cold when we received it so that may have affected the taste. The fried pickles were bland not much flavor. The empanadas were awkward, the sauce was not tasty. Shrimp was okay.

Burgers can be good but they have a bartender there that should work nowhere customer service. That can ruin a night.

I used to love this bar and go here all the time, unfortunately the staff has become rude, butting into conversations, and completely unhelpful toward beer selections and I will not be returning.
