- PaddyMarch 16, 2018Love this place. Bit of nostalgia for me, bit of my obsession with BBQ & bit of my love for a large selection of beers. I always do brisket & it’s good here, likewise the beans & the house hot sauce.
- MarcDecember 20, 2019SouthernLiving.com: OG of BOS BBQ; hefty sampler BBQ Belt w/3 types of ribs + brisket &sausage; BB ribs sticky w/sweet glaze; dry rub STL ribs have overly-smoky pnch; house-smoked sausage is enjoyable
- Niki BlakerFebruary 4, 2018Fantastic draught list! In addition to beers, lots of great local ciders. Pulled pork dinner with dirty rice & baked beans was on point. Smoked sausage was spicy! Cornbread was amazing. Super casual.
- George LeeMarch 23, 2015I think I liked the cornbread the best. But the baby back ribs, sweet spicy sauce and mashed potatoes were good too. Alcohol makes things better too.
- George WaltersAugust 8, 2022Great Barbeque, soft and tasty corn bread, and real biscuits. Outdoor seating during warm months nowadays. Right off Davis Square. Top notch. Good beer selection too.
- NicholasOctober 29, 2014Bustling BBQ restaurant in the lovely Davis Square area. Takes some time to get to on the red line, but worth the effort if you're a fan of delicious meat and southern fare.
- The Next Great Generation (Boston)January 20, 2012Red Bones serves a special late-night menu until 12:30 a.m. and offers a hefty drink list, so it's is the perfect place to finish off the day. Try the Baby Back Ribs for a big helping of comfort food. Read more
- Ross Flieger-AllisonFebruary 2, 2020The fun vibe and the quality of meat are both great. Healthy food options are limited, but that’s probably not why you came to Redbones in the first place anyway :)
- Jake SmithSeptember 17, 2011The pulled pork sandwich here is probably the best in Boston, and the vinegar sauce (1 of 4) adds a tangy element to the experience. For sides, I'd go with the garlic mashed and the mac and cheese.
- They have vegan items now! And the menu has them clearly marked. Currently the beans and veggie burger are vegan. Hopefully they'll have more vegan options in the future!
- Nick RoulleauDecember 23, 2015try the barbecue belt (meal, listed in the ribs section of the menu) if you can't decide which type of barbecued meat to have. All are great
- While you can't go wrong with ribs, you especially can't go wrong with that beer list.
- Linda SongJuly 6, 2015The BBQ hash and pulled pork is melt in your mouth delicious. Pour that sweet sauce on em!
- Moit LasMarch 11, 2016You have to try the fried pickles and jalapenos appetizer and their house margaritas!
- Monica VJanuary 21, 2012Delicious food consistently - worth the wait.More Eco-friendly take out packaging would be appreciated. They should have floss in the bathrooms, but until they do, bring your own. You will thank me.

- Cintain 昆遊龍July 27, 2015Delicious! Beef brisket is out of this world, and mashed potatoes are scrumptious.
- TrevorSeptember 1, 2012Get there early and try to be sited downstairs. Service was great on a busy Friday night. The ribs are fall off the bone. Be prepared to eat, it's a lot of food.
- NicholasOctober 29, 2014Bustling BBQ restaurant in the lovely Davis Square area. Take some time to get to on the red line, but generally worth the effort.

- Adam DMay 25, 2013Great brisket, ribs & sausage. Steer clear of the fried okra. And the sauce leaves something to be desired. But overall good BBQ for MA. Written by someone from Oklahoma.

- Proxy ApparelMarch 26, 2012Get the buffalo shrimp (or ask for buffalo scallops, which aren't on the menu). Then, if you're feeling lucky, spin the beer wheel to try a new brew.
- Alwyn VelasquezApril 30, 2012Try the The Barbecue Belt With Potato Salad And Dirty Rice - A medley of succulent meat that melts in your mouth, tart potato salad and hearty and delectable dirty rice.
- Four TrianglesFebruary 9, 2016Corn bread, and any BBQ meat is great! The beer selection is also incredibly vast, with many craft beers.
- The corn pudding has been nuked from the menu for some reason, as has the Any 3 combo, and a couple of other things. I am sad and unimpressed.
- If you're somewho likes hot food: get the Jamaican jerk sandwich or slider, chips and atomic relish. (if you do the slider, it's all under $10 if you do the slider) but beware....it's HOT
- Great BBQ, suds and staff. Get the sampler platter - a little of everything and two sides.
