The beautiful wood-accented back room of this 100-year-old building is one of the city's best places to catch local acts before they get big, while the front bar serves up a mean mac'n'cheese. Read more
The omelettes at brunch are fantastic. If you're here for lunch or dinner, I highly recommend the Mac & cheese. You can add whatever you want to it and make it taste amazing. Get funky with it.
Great venue, nice bar setup (maybe 40s? 30s?) food looks amazing too. Particularly the mac & cheese. Schlitzon tap because it used to be a Schlitzbrewery.
Intimate room? Warm décor? Check. Cool bands? Check. Mac and cheese? Check. Schubas was right away one of my favorite places to see a concert in the city. Read more
Great place to play if you're a band. Fantastic sound, good stage, nice staff, air-conditioned green room, great food especially the veganburrito. Best venue on this tour!

The back room's a great size and has the best touring and local indie acts. The front room is where everybody knows your name. Check them out on Facebook - they're always giving away tickets to fans.
Come to see one of many great shows and while the band is warming up you can get ready for a long night out with the Mac'N'Cheese. I love it with the pulled pork and broccoli.
Its Schubas man! ...the best bands in the city play here. They don't let my band play here. Stroll in, pick up a $10 Schlitz and groove. This is where its at.
If you can't squeeze into the front, stake out a spot just in front of the soundboard. The view's decent, the sound's perfect, and best of all, you're beer-line adjacent for the whole show.
This venue not only has an awesome room for shows, but they also have a sit-down restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner! So, grab a bite to eat before the show. You won't be sorry!
Here, there are several live lit shows you can catch in Chicago this winter. Guts & Glory, hosted by Keith Ecker and Samantha Irby, is never a disappointment. Read more

For some sold out shows, show up an hour early and grab something to eat. When someone shows up at the door for the music room ask if there's any tickets being sold at the door and you may have a shot
Schubas presents a diverse line-up of live music seven nights a week. Honky-Tonk, Indie Rock, from Americana to Jazz, from Pop to Country, it's all here.
In August of 2011, Schubas was designated a Chicago Historic Landmark as a result of its history as a Schlitz Tied House.
