Andrew CApril 16, 2016I took a group of Australians here who immediately remarked, "It's like being in American movie!" Wood paneling and neon signs blow foreign minds apparently. Didn't mean to rhyme there.
I've eaten here at least once a week for the past three years. I've always received great service. But then again I tip well... notice the cause and effect here?

Never had a problem with the service. Quite the contrary... you can tell they work hard.

Allison HillSeptember 26, 2010Yes, McMenamins service is predictably bad. Go for happy hour (3-6 and 10-12) and get Cajun tots and a Rubinator and you won't care about the service.
Try an Oregon Bulldog. It's a coffee/creamy/cola/vodka affair. (It's not always on the cocktail list, but if you ask nicely, they'll be happy to whip one up.)
Remember this date. And get good beer on the cheap. Cheers!
If a cute girl with a sign is there, don't buy her a burrito. You'll end up having to buy her friend a burger and then hear stories that you didn't want to hear.
- A great way to drink cheap is to grab the pingers. It saves you money and is an adventure.
