Roxy Burger was good. Expect typical high endhotel quality food. Very cool ambience, but don't let that fool you into thinking that it's one of the best dinner options in NYC or Tribeca even.
You're witnessing the epitome of a hotel-lobby bar: comfortable armchairs, an elegant bar to perch along, gently pulsing house music and decent nibbles.
if you're thirsty, don't sit at the bar and expect a drink. some of the worst service i've seen in a long time. that said, once you do get their attention, their house cocktails are quite yummy.
The English Breakfast is OK - better than Balthazar's, but still not a patch on a proper one from in England! Doesn't say so on the menu, but it comes with beans (not Heinz unfortunately!).
