Steaks were perfection, yummy salty crust. Get all the sides. I'm not a big creamed anything fan but omg the creamed corn and creamed trufflespinach. Oh and then there's the 24 layerchoc cake. 👍🏻
Best steaks in town! Rib-Eye is sublime. 20oz Strip Steak is indescribable. Fried potatoes, trufflecreamed spinach are winners. Keaira is the waitress to ask for - and please tip generously!! YUM!
The bone-in filet special is one of the best steaks I've ever had. Start with the bacon to share. Try the creamed corn and Goose Fat potatoes as sides.
Excellent steaks, amazing sides; the creamed spinach and the mac and cheese were amazing! Great atmosphere, good service, sophisticated wine list. Very expensive, but worth it; great value for money.
Meat is great. Ravioli sounds good but just ok and very small. Fries r amazing. Great atmosphere and great food but be ready crazy expensive. Example. 3 olives in your martini will cost 3$ crazy lol
Everything here is amazing. Best steak. Brussels sprouts side dish is underrated. 24 later chocolate plate cake is heaven! Great place to celebrate something special
This is the best (birthday) cake one could ask for; a huge piece of this multi-layered chocolate cake! It is as good as it looks, or even better! A must-have!
Creamed spinach and seared scallops....must have!! Priceyrestaurant but well worth it for special occasions. Great service and an extensive wine selection.
best of seafood and steak, featuring classics such as Roasted Bacon, Bone-In Rib Eye and a massive 42 oz. Porterhouse as well as Surf & TurfTartare, New England Sea Scallops and Blackened Tuna
You're here which is already a good decision so cheers. Filet is on point as is the truffledcreamed spinach & duck fatpotatoes. But don't sleep on the roasted garlic. Best garnish I've encountered.
With no porterhouse, your choice devolves to just the N.Y. strip and the hefty ribeye. Pick the former, which arrives charred and displaying the crumbly texture of the perfectly aged steakRead more
I came here for dinner with my best friend & had a fabulous time. We loved the ambience & decor. The steaks were spectacular & the service was stupendous. Loved it! I would definitely come back.
Great bourbon list. Great steak sauces, ask them to bring out them all. Kinda got a romantic ambiance, which is an EXCELLENT excuse to set a date or double date at a steakhouse.
Each steak is made to your request with some of the juiciest and tastiest roasted garlic house steak sauce. The side dishes, especially the steamed broccoli, are divine and big so prepare to share.
Great atmosphere, delicious steaks, maybe the best I've had. Cooked perfectly no matter how you like it. Get the 24-layer cake even if you are full. Great service too.
A great stake in a beautiful and warm environment. Tried the bone-in rib eye and it was awesome! Had a nice cocktail at the bar while waiting for the table
Ribeye on the bone was fantastic. Sauce came on the side, which was good because it overpowered the flavor of the meat a bit. Go easy. Chocolate cake was beyond belief.
One of the steak chains but still amazingly good food. They don't do a 'surf and turf' option but we got small filets and split a shelled lobster for the table. So good!
Definitely get the 14oz bone in filet if they have it as a special. It has the tenderness of a regular filet but a ton more flavor from the bone and slight bit of fat.
The namesake steak at Strip House Grill, 11 E 12 St., is flavorful&less chewy than some of its brethren. Homemade ice cream is memorable. Service is good, as is the overall effect, in clubby environs.

dig into a wide selection of scrumptious sides that range Goose Fat Potatoes and Black Truffle Creamed Spinach to Creamed Corn with Pancetta and Mac & Cheese.
There's some stiff competition for best steak in NYC and Strip House is near the top. Get the Porterhouse cooked as you prefer (we prefer medium rare) and a side of the goose fat potatoes.
surf and turftartare and pancetta-spiked creamed corn. The signature side -- a holdover from pre-Hanson days. Order it with either rib eye, 14-ounce dry aged or 20-ounce wet.
A very swankySteak House - we love the old school bordello feel, almost as much as we love the Bacon Strip, Goose Fat Potatoes and Black Truffle Creamed Spinach.
Tight fit when it's just the two of you, but the menu is great. Had the lamb and baked Alaska for dessert. Must try the surf and turf app, it's amazing
Steaks are excellent, especially the double-cut bone-in rib eye, but Strip House's real achievement is finally putting steak in a sexy setting, which it does in spades. [Eater 38 Member] Read more
Order an ultimate monster cheesecake to share with the whole table. This massive statue can feed a village. It's enormous, but it's also quite a delicious masterpiece. Make sure you leave room for it.

If they have the bone-in filet, definitely get it with bernaise. The goose fat potatoes are overrated but the corn and truffledspinach are great sides. Skip the chocolate cake.
Don't overlook the fries; they're awesome. And be careful ordering desserts -- that chocolate "table share" cake is monstrous. And even one profiterole is good for ~3 people. (See pic I uploaded.)
A sultry steakhouse in New York City where old-world glamour meets modern style and sophistication. Experience the combination of charred cuts perfectly paired with decadent sides, such as Truffle Creamed Spinach and Goose Fat Potatoes. And be sure to save room for the famed 24-Layer Chocolate Cake.
