This is the most authentic Mexican restaurant I've been to in 4 years of living in NYC. It's a hole in the wall place on UES that makes great authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Very small, quaint and charming "hole in the wall" Mexican place with authentic food and sweet service that makes you feel you're visiting your Mexican cousin or aunt at their little restaurant.

So far the best mexican food I've found in NYC, homemade tortillas, refried beans, and legit guac. Ask for your tacos in a flour tortilla. Seriously underrated.

Steak Fajitas are amazing!! Staff is excellent and attentive! Small and quaint environment! Perfect for couples who want a great meal during peak hours without the crowd and noise! A++

Ask for a michelada: beer with ice, lemon juice, salt round the rim and a slug of smokey chilli sauce. Not very nice, but authentically Mexican! :)

Best mexican on the UES, hands down. small whole in the wall of a restaurant, but take out can't be beat.

Used to love this place but I started to realize how they charge extra for chips. So ridiculous. The prices are out of control and the service is not nice.

with all the rave reviews on foursquare, I was excited to try this place out. $10 for a tiny carne asada burrito with hardly any meat. Just walk away
