A longstanding NYC favorite for Thai food lovers. Everything is good, as long as you order it as it's supposed to be ordered — spicy. Thai iced tea counteracts the heat. Khao soi is notably excellent.
Where do I start? SPP is hands down the best Thai in NYC. Try the sautéed duck in basil and Massaman curry. Larp is also fantastic. Buy the chili shrimp paste to go and put it on everything!

Forget pokpok. THIS is the best, authentic Thai food you can get in New York. Try the raw shrimp or a salad for something tangy and spicy.
This place is as delicious as only a "Cash Only" / Closed on Wednesdays place can be. Fave Thai place in NYC.

Best Thai in NYC. Pass on Papaya salad and go for the Crispy Ground Catfish. Not what you expect but it's a seriously flavorful dish, and highly addicting.

Ignore talk of "pilgrimages" & "worth the trip." The best ethnic food is always where immigrant folk actually live. Over 20 yrs old Sri has kept true to its flavors from when it was a hole in the wall
