- They recently, in the last year or so, finally expanded their craft beer menu and it's much larger and better. It also rotates pretty well. I am happy again.
- Hill Tavern burger, worth it @ $10 but add a sunny side up egg $1, big serving of tasty bacon $1, cheddar & avocado at $1 each w/ a side salad of mixed greens. Mhm, one of the best burgers in Boston!
- This place has heart. I'll leave it at that. If you don't want to know anything about your bartender, have a personal drink or feel at home, walk down to Harvard Gardens.
- Can be a little intimidating if you're looking for seating b/c there isn't always a hostess. If it's empty, seat yourself. Crowded: wait at the front door. Don't worry, someone will come get you!
- They always play the best music here. Great food, especially the spinach dip. Also an awesome spot for brunch on the weekends.
- JohnMay 4, 2013The burger is great! Cooked to order, ( I ordered medium rare) came out just right and hot. Excellent.
- A SSeptember 11, 2016Make a reservation if you're a large party, they can hold a table for you in the back.
- Took over one of the two big screens here to watch the women's tourney. ND was gifted a win earlier. Now let's go Lady Huskies!! The FINAL FOUR awaits you yet again ;)
- Eric AndersenJune 13, 2012Don't miss their specialty — the Hill Tavern burger. Get it with blue cheese and sweet potato fries
- House salad comes standard with artichoke hearts! Not to be missed
- Sam CJuly 31, 2011Great laidback bar with good beer selection. Try the tomato/mozz/avocado/carmelized onion sandwich (not available during brunch, sadly), it is delicious.
- Brian BruckrunnerOctober 12, 2013Has a great feel to it. Bartender/waiter very friendly and knows his beer.
- Their spinach dip used to be awesome because it came with pieces of toasted, sliced baguette. Instead they now use crappy tortilla chips. Not nearly as good.
- lydia and gill are both stacked waitresses. its like a classy hooters. the pulled pork is moist. but the chicken fingers are more like toes.
- Head there between 4 and 6PM to take advantage of their happy hour food menu (wings, chicken tenders, fries, etc...) and grab a nice, cold beer while you're at it as well
- The Hollandaise is incredible!! At least the day I had it:) Nice and lemony.
- They just upgraded the whole tap system. They now have 25 beers on tap and a ton of great microbrews
- Great beer selection -get the beer sampler and meatball hoagie.
- Jessica DeLucaFebruary 12, 2012Bloody Mary is a bit too peppery- but the breakfast club sandwich is delicious!!
- Ask for the Harpoon Cask at the corner of the bar. It'll knock your socks off!
- Drew SicklerNovember 26, 2013If you're looking to have fun, this is not the place to go. Why you must ask? They don't even carry Fireball.
- Foods pretty good for a pub. Staff is real nice. Plenty of TVs.
- Daniel SmoligaSeptember 1, 2010The best "chill" place on BH. Good food and Chris the bartender is great
- Mozzie Stix are served with a vat of marinara and are delish.
