This is one of my favorite places in NYC. If you're a culture fan visiting NY: catch a B-way show, hit up MoMA or the Met, and watch something at Lincoln Center. Also, the fountain is spectacular.

Here's a real tip... be nimble. Be quick. You gotta be crafty too to make your way around all of the old people at intermission & at the conclusion of any performance there. Wow, there's a lot of 'em.

If you are just going for a tour, or just visiting without going to an event, go AFTER 3PM! If you go too early, the shades are closed. You'll miss the 30' tall paintings by Marc Chagall, a highlight.

The fountain cycles through a water show every hour, but beware if you're sitting on the marble edges as the water shoots up very fast and you can (and will) get wet!

The problem is it’s become a tourist trap with no good food around unless you’re super upper class, so it’s such a weird vibe when you’re just a normal New Yorker going to a show who’ll get hungry.
Watching as they do a modeling photo shot....hmmm tip models in person are not as pretty until they are air brushed!!!! Thank goodness for the air brush!!!
