Omakase at the sushi bar is the best experience you can have. Try to sit in the middle as that's where Chef Daisuke Nakazawa stands.
Omakse. Top purest sushi spot in the city. A place like sushi of gari is also excellent but they aren't all about the fish. This is place shows off the best sushi from local/international waters.
Order the omakase, it's a parade of the best nigiri I've ever had and worth every penny. Just make sure you go on an empty stomach.

Some of the best cocktails I've had in the city. Small selection but they squeeze all their own ingredients. Food also solid. Loved the shabu shabu salad and the toro sushi. Avoid the fried chicken.

Scallop Ceviche and Duck Nigiri are the standouts of a great menu and great service (coffee and tea service serves 2+ people though, as an FYI)
Ready to go sushi and Bento anywhere from $3 - $12+. Cucumber and plum sushi is the best and for $3. Microwave to heat and space to sit and eat in store.

I liked it! I had the “Sushi regular” which was 7 pieces of sushi plus 1 sushi roll. The salmon was my favorite. I also ordered an extra piece of King Salmon

Dynamite roll was our favourite roll! The sashimi deluxe was good but didn’t excite us too much. Tomoe still the best for us in the village for affordable sushi.

One of the absolute best omakases in NYC! Mitsu was executive chef at Jewel Bako for years. Intimate 8-seat space and incredible progression of fish.

If you’re at the bar ask for max! While you get the rice lager because it’s made from the same ingredients as the sushi rice, get the yuzu ale. Because it’s made from magic. Seriously, magic!
