Our server was hilariously snarky. Artichoke dip is tasty and Guinness is cold. Excellent music. Recommended.
Get the Guinness Burger as a switch from a traditional American burger. Onion straws, a boxty, cheese sauce with a burger on top. Nothing healthy about it & delicious!

Epic atmosphere, cool people, and they have Guinness on tap. I recommend a dozen oysters on the half shell: two each of East Beach Blonde, Matunuck, Raspberry Point, Rocky Bay, St. Simon, & Wellfleet.
Waitress said its one of the oldest bar/saloons in the US. Extensive menu - didn't try the oysters but they looked good. My Guinness beef stew was solid and flavorful
One of the oldest restaurant in D.C. The decor is nice and fresh oysters are excellent. Moderately priced. I recommend making a reservation; this place is always busy.
If you're hungry, try the herbed half chicken with mashed potatoes (good-sized plate of food). Burgers are always good too. Oh, and order a Guinness with your meal for god's sake.
Love at first sight with this place! Cozy interior, delicious food, friendly staff. Crab Tower - must try! Waiter Lidia who served us was soooo nice :) Reservation is a must for the evenings.

Get the Guinness with a shot of espresso.
Mint tea and magic bar were perfect. The bar is a delicious combo of coconut, chocolate and peanut butter! Nice seating by the window on a beautiful day for reading and people watching.
Any place that serves coffee in a mug about the size of my head deserves continual patronage.

Great spot for a clandestine meeting. Enter through lobby. Door downstairs to left of elevators. Concierge has phone chargers.
Extremely disappointing for foodies or cocktail enthusiasts. Maybe it was an off night. However it may be, it was not the best hotel bar of America.
