Take in an exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery, followed by drinks at the charming Gallery Café. The Café’s desserts are divine and the atmosphere is seemingly European.
The Colour of My Dreams has some fantastic works by Tanguy, Dali and others. Best expo at gallery in years.
Tip: take your sweet time and explore every corner of the gallery!
This aboriginal art gallery has some very impressive exhibitions of sculpture, print, jewelry, and lots of other magnificent pieces. Don't miss the permanent exhibition of Reid's Mythic Messengers
The gallery is on the smallish side, it took less than 30 minutes to get through the whole thing, and about 30 minutes to find parking on a Saturday. Some very nice pieces, particularly the jewelry.

Such a great property. Right in the heart of downtown, so most anything you could want to do is a <20 min walk. Incredible hospitality, great bar, tasty food (shoutout to Hawksworth), and more.
Connie and Matthew are super awesome and extremely helpful. Jim is also very fun to talk to while you relax in the Bentley while getting a massage!
Good mixologists at the bar. Gallery Steps was a perfectly balanced cocktail with earl grey infused Beefeater & Laphroiag Quarter Cask.
My favorite restaurant in Vancouver! Try the Sablefish + the excellent cocktails (ask for a custom one and get ready for the bartender to make magic in a glass!).
The city's love of all things casual stops here: nowhere in Vancouver has such an beautiful room to enjoy truly fine dining. The elegant creations pair well with the surroundings. [Eater 38 Member]
Lovely art museum with a wonderful cafe. Enjoy the galleries and grab a latte and a beautiful pastry (pana cotta!) on the sprawling patio if it isn't raining. (Unlikely.)

Love the little room in the back for plays - enjoy dinner and a few drinks after. Fun atmosphere. Patio is usually busy.

A small but great little museum featuring all things Vancouver. Loved the Happy Show and Neon Ugly exhibit as well as artifacts through Vancouver's history.

Superb downtown location with excellent facilities, excellent food and drink and superb views of all the Vancouver Whitecaps action. They'll even open the roof on summer nights. What's not to love?
