Casual, 14 seat spot (counter seating) with $9 bowls of ramen with all the goodies. Get the miso ramen, spicy, and stir in the small block of butter that comes on top. Mm.

TOTALLY worth the average 20 mins wait. By far one of my neighborhood favs, coming here as often as once a week. Top picks: Naruto Ramen, Gyoza, Tan Tan ramen and their fantastic Sapporo draught.
Lovely speakeasy, kyoto ramen, pork buns. Cocktails are super cool but taste wise i would want try something other than the pineapple (too medicine y), truffle, and bee. Maybe the ginger one!
Lovely atmosphere, great cocktails and really tasty food choices. We tried fried chicken, pork buns and Hokkaido ramen and everything was perfect! Also, very reasonable prices.
From the atmosphere to the service to the drinks to the soups to the Japanese egg salad sandwich (that’s right!), we loved every second we spent in here. Get the beet cocktail with balsamic!

Love the calm atmosphere here and spaghetti-like ramen noodles! My fav is TONKOTSU broth. Never forget ordering homemade fried pork dumplings. But avoid chicken wings...

Everyone comes here. Shaken beef is best superb, Pho hits the spot. Solid Vietnamese for NYC, let alone UES
The assorted dumpling appetizer is a great way to start your meal. Can't go wrong with a bahn mi, my favorite is the pork belly. Great soups and entrees all around
The curry shrimp soup is delicious. Well, at least the broth is. (The shrimp tasted frozen). Also got the mango & papaya salad with beef which was refreshing
Delicious Pho - I will have to try some of the other varieties when I come back. The Pho Shop Soup with brisket was very flavorful!
Grill Pho was hands down the most delicious Pho I’ve ever had! It’s exactly the same but the meat comes grilled on the side and you put it in the soup. It really enhances the flavor, it was DELICIOUS.

I love their consommé soup with kasha. 2nd Ave Deli is the closest I can find to Ukrainian food on UES. Plus, helps me when I'm sick. Yummy comfort food. 🍲
The matzah ball soup is great! Get the half sandwich and half soup combo (same size as the regular soup) and try the challah french toast!

Of course can't go wrong with the lobster roll. It is small and pricy but you get your $ worth. There should be Tabasco & lemon there to add flavor. Clam chowder is good too! Small joint simple menu

Good Thai food in the UES. Prices are decent. Lunch special is a good deal. Green curry is good but on the sweeter side. Love the tom kha soup. Curry puffs are good. Decor is nice albeit not Thai.

Start with the Onion Soup. Orange Duck as main course. Finish with Chocolate Tart (very moist, slightly salty, peanut butter ice cream). Every course is a delight.
Excellent Onion soup and the best Steak Fritte I've had in NYC. A very enjoyable Cote Du Rhone completed the French bistro atmosphere.

Had the pea soup, pastrami sandwich, pickles and a knish. It was good but not great. I'd say Katz has the corner of the market.
Best chopped chicken liver here. Best matzoh ball soup and knishes elsewhere.
