The cortados at Birch are the best in the city, never bitter or sour. If you've never had a cortado, this is a great place to try one!

Perfect place to go for a meal after visiting The Met – it’s like being transported to a little town in Italy. Their Paninis are perfect, the DIY Tiramisu is awe-inspiring and cappuccino is lovely.

Nice hot and cold coffee mixes. The green tea matcha latte with ice tastes delicious! Its expensive but worth a try. Cakes and pastries are good, although for cakes better go to Lady M.
A little Australian cafe in a very cute chapel on the Museum Mile. Get the Avo toast, banana bread, a flat white and a chai latte.
Get the aussie iced latte, it has a scoop of ice cream inside! So good.

Finally! A new specialty coffee shop close to the UES 86th subway (on the same location as the recently closed Petite Shell). Everything tasted terrific so far, from espresso, cortado to batch brew.

If you're an Italian expat looking to overcome your homesickness, just come here in the morning and get a real cream cornetto and espresso; pricey but you will save on trips back to the motherland.

Best pizza I've had on UES; and comes out quick from the brick oven. The Capricciosa is my go-to on the menu. For caffeine, the Macchiato can't be beat.

The margherita pizza is the best I've ever had. Split it and a salad with a date — you'll still have room for tiramisu and espresso ;)

Good drinks (Mocha Frap is delish and not too sweet). They banned smoking at their outside tables tho, so if you're a smoker you're gonna have to find a new haven...
The friendliest folks work here in the mornings - quick & efficient! I like both their iced coffee & lattes. Big selection of pastries and snacks.
El servicio es muy bueno. Probamos el sándwich de huevo, bacon y queso y el sándwich de pavo y estuvieron muy ricos. De bebidas probamos el café y el chai oat latte y estuvo deliciosooo!!
The people are lovely, atmosphere attractive and comfortable, pastries and food quite good. Not experts at using the fancy marzocco espresso machine and it shows. Coffee matters fellas.
Capuccino and pumpkin loaf both great. Good outdoor setup but heaters were off 😔
