Stellar new bar in the old Neary's space. A surprisingly spotless gastropub meets beer hall, with a great selection of pretzels, upscale mac and cheese and can't-miss smoked chicken wings.

Great beer. Amazing food!! There's a ping pong table at the back which you shouldn't miss. Basement is a cigar bar which might be a deal breaker depend on where you stand.

Love this bar! Great beer, same bartender every Thursday night, and if you're willing to throw down a cash deposit you can drink Spaten from a giant glass boot. One of the few real musts in the UES.
Updated vibe maintains its old world charm and is putting out delicious German/Bavarian food and the perfect beers to wash 'em down with! Get the pork shank for dinner, or a currywurst for lunch! =)

Great date spot with a wide range of Belgian beers. Sit outside in the back garden for a wonderful evening of ambiance and great food. Also, if the wait at Melons is too long, get the B Café burger
Traditional belgian cafe. Heavy, delicious brunch and wonderful beer selection.
Excellent selection of Belgium beer. The burger, although cooked properly, was a bit too dense but fortunately the mussels in red curry sauce made up for it completely. Service was very courteous!

Such a great addition to the Upper East Side! The beer list is excellent, as is the ambiance, and the chicken parm sandwich is pretty much to die for.
The ultimate neighborhood bar, complete with bar games, great beers both on tap and in bottle, and friendly atmosphere with wonderful staff. Food is not served, so eat beforehand or enjoy free chips.
