We had sashimi, shrimp tempura and soft shell crab. The food is good here. The place is clean. Service is good too. We enjoyed our lunch.

Tasty sushi and the staff were really helpful and attentive (although we were the only ones in). Still a tasty spot!

Best oysters. Not too salty, perfect texture. Sea bream, lobster, crab cakes also great!

Love this place! Everything is always super fresh and sashimi is thick. They just need a renovation. Try the spyder hand roll.

Great food! Had the beef tartare app, Cornish hen main and lemon tartlet desert. All amazing! Stage has great sight lines and the sound is well done. All good!! Will most def go back.

Attention Annex Sushi lovers. Akai on Harbord is the best sushi to be found between those noisy Bloor Street joints and College and twixt Bay and Bathurst. Chef is careful and ingredients fresh.
Pay just a bit more for way better quality than the sushi joints on Bloor. Super friendly people who sometimes give you bonus appetizers with your takeout order!
Authentic Japanese in a classy atmosphere! Teppanyaki: entertaining and damn delicious. Service: fast and friendly. Price: on the expensive side, but worth it. Will definitely be returning for more!

If you are going for teppanyaki, you will get covered by oil so avoid wearing your wool sweater or silk shirt. Also avoid sitting along the west wall. The air flows from the door towards the wall.

'Bun' noodles with grilled pork and a crispy spring roll is sooo good. I go here with my daughter once a week.
Pho and bun are quite good. Same with the salad rolls. Can’t really go wrong g with their menu.
