Tim Fitzsimmons: Few cinemas still have that overpowering popcorn smell like the Ritz has. I used to work here to the envy of friends. Good place to take a date, especially if you can sneak upstairs.
Elana B: I could happily move in here. Inexpensive tickets and candy bar deals, great location, smells of popcorn ...
Geoff Kim: See a Popcorn Taxi special event here.. like Apocalypse Now director's cut, or Scarface. Read more.

Alastair Wall: Best lamb in Sydney hands down and the reason I keep coming back here. For entree try the popcorn prawn and flat bread both great dishes. Dessert give a miss as I've found them to be very average.

Isabella S: Amazing strawberry choc top only for $4.90! :D contains real strawberries! Disappointing popcorn! IT WAS COLD! Despite coming out of the 'popcorn maker/cabinet!'. Forget the popcorn, buy the choc top!
J: The popcorn is cold and too salty. Don't get it.
Mario Tsang: Choc tops are scrumdidleeumptious. Also -their combo red rock chips and a peroni for a niner is heaps better than what you'd get at hoyts. Ace local cinema.
Sophie: Lavish art deco theatre that dates back to the 1930s. A hidden gem, try the choctops, grab a popcorn and check out the Wurlitzer Organ!
Matt Swan: If you're driving, there's parking over the street at the little Cremorne Shopping Arcade thing - buy your popcorn from IGA to validate :-) $8 for 3 hours.
Bruno A: Marvellous art deco cinema. The main theatre is just amazing. A must see for art deco lovers.
Mimi: Bring your own popcorn, snacks and drinks! Make a small detour and stop by Westpoint Blacktown and get cheaper snacks.
Tyler Tabram: Amazing food and great customer. Provides a very trendy and retro feel:-)
I-van Leong: Bring pillows, blanket, chairs and place Tyres on road bump to raise angle. Enjoy.

Jason Hoy: The SC Pannell wines are awesome.
Nick Findlay: one of the last decent pubs in Newtown - bistro is good, although it has gone down hill a bit in the last year or so. beers still cheap, and free popcorn always goes down a treat
Julia Thomas: Deep in the backstreets of Newtown, this old man pub reveals a hidden bistro of impressive almost fancy pub grub
Fiona Reynolds: Best pub food in newtown
