Dimsum is inexcusably bad and more expensive than better alternatives in Chinatown.
Higher quality of dim sums hence the higher price tag. Egg tarts are amazing.
Excellent yum-cha, especially at the opening bell. Highlights: shrimp & chive dumplings, fried savory dumpling (hahm suy gok) prawn in rice noodle (har cheung fan), mango pudding.
Dimsum or yumcha are also great in this restaurant. They're not as expensive and portions given are huge. You can also claim parking concession when you pay your bill.
Be sure to book online as it gets busy! Also, order the Po Lel tea (much nicer than the standard!)

Once a week, you can watch cult movies at the Cult Sinema, or you can simply hang out in the afternoon at Pub Cha, a place for yum cha and beer (yes, spring rolls and dimsum!)
Newly renovated with a family beer garden and welcoming of canine friends too. Friendly staff, changing cocktails list and a great fish finger sandwich.
The side bar looks wicked with the new renovations!!! Buy a brick everyone & save this Sydney music institution!

Frozen Xiao Long bao from Chinese grocery store is better. Ding Tai Fung has bigger portion, cheaper and better - or any other dumpling place for that matter. Go elsewhere
'The Schnitzel': Crisp as can be, seasoned with shio kombu-spiked chicken salt for an extra wallop of umami and accompanied by rosemary sprinkled-potatoes, lightly dressed leaves and a pot of gravy.

Dinner buffet is to die for. High tea was better back when they had unlimited Max Brenner drinking chocolate & lobster slaw martini. Nice hotel rooms with HUGE bathroom & blackout blinds!
