Great selection and perfectly cooked doughnuts. Wide variety of chocolate items that can easily be dessert. Avoid the bagels though - for a bakery this good at doughnuts, the bagels are disappointing

Really scare the cardiologist: when getting the corned beef and potato pancake, order a Kishke w/gravy plus rice pudding for dessert (just don't do it too often and you'll probably live).
Classic Chicago establishment. Rub elbows with anyone who's anyone. Try the corned beef on rye. Pass on the potato pancake. Chicken noodle soup, Eli's cheesecake, spaghetti, and a Green River.

Servers aren't the friendliest, but they aren't rude. Asked for dessert menus, were ignored for 20 min afterward, even though we had 2 people waiting on us. Worth it, though, for the vegan breakfast.

I liked their Margehita, but some o my friends mentioned their polish sausage one was very good. If you're not a pizza purist, try their dessert pizza, it's like a s'mores.

The food is great, but the desserts are super huge (and really good, too)! My favorite is the chorizo quesadilla with a horchata (no ice).

If you don't want to eat any fast food Trader Joe's is the right choice! They have a lot of healthy choices with fresh salads and fruit daily.
