Burt Herman: Nice stylish cafe (but no wifi!)
Kim Pham: Indulge in some stellar coffee & rub elbows with startup nerds + trendy hipsters. Or even worse, startup hipsters.
Nikos Antiporda: This place is huge, but seems they still lack seating. Nevertheless, the coffee is superb, the design is organically modern, and the people are uniquely SF hip.

Andy Dietler: Cool place. A hip clean Chiptole take on a beer bar.
Rahul Reddy Padigela: Hip decor, considering the places around here a salad or sandwich for $10 is a "bargain". They have coffee, craft beer and a good selection of scotch and whiskeys. Love the look of their copper tables
Amber Overton: Wow, wow, wow you have to try the pulled pork sandwich, it was phenomenal! Great service to boot, too.

Jenny L.: Trendy. Good cocktail and punch selections. Cheap oysters for happy hour. Waitresses were a little rude...they acted like doing their job is too much for them.
Sravanti Tekumalla: Perfect for bougie (but good) cocktails and a trendy spot. Gets super busy, so come in the off hours if you can.
Katerina Kuv: Library style, cool atmosphere and bartenders. Try local punch, gatsby style. Trendy and super popular

Emily Kim: Truly a fan of this marriage of modern day speakeasy to sexy chic. Classic classy. #fan
Erik Beerepoot: Trendy bar, but be sure to reserve a table as it gets busy quickly.
Emily B: What's good here?? What a question! This is and underground 1930s newsstand themed lounge with LIVE music- not just music- a FULL band. I had an amazing beer and their 'barbarella' cocktail- amazing!

Sam Weller: The crowd is great, trendy and techie . Coffee is good. Wooden benches add this quaint and pleasant spirit. You can sip on your coffee, work on your computer and enjoy paintings on the walls
Aubrie Johnson: They've got kombucha on tap. That's how trendy and hipster they are.
Nate Beatty: Classic coffee shop / gallery space. Get an espresso and one of the big cookies and look at the tapestries on the walls

8.3
1301 Mission St (at 9th St), San Francisco, CA
Coffee Shop · SoMa · 29 tips and reviews
Ashley Mowrey: Counter culture. So dope. Their "already made" coffee is some of the best you'll get in the city, so if you're in a hurry you'll be sure to get your money's worth with that option.
David Mazza: Very chill baristas, solid wifi, no outlets but a great place to work.
Peggy: Super friendly baristas, and beautiful space with ample seating – great for working or conversation!
12. The Grove

690 Mission St (btwn 3rd & Annie St), San Francisco, CA
Café · SoMa · 637 tips and reviews
Rudy Rigot: Food was good but overpriced, service was "industrialized", no wireless (annoying for a coffee shop in SF). Beautiful setting, but "hip", so you get to pay for it.
J Li: Hip decor with large wood tables and awkward seats. Not bad place for a work meeting in the morning. Breakfast burrito is a little pricey but it's a real delicious meal.
Carolyn Coles: My favourite breakfast, lunch, coffee spot in SOMA. Great for eating, working, or making new friends when you are in town for business.

Nader Farzan: Apparently not a laundromat for nuns...

Bennett W Wong: This is one thing I always like when I go to Philz Coffee. Baristas are friendly and check to see if you need more sugar and cream in your coffee. I love them for their friendliness.
Sabina: Tantalizing Turkish is my new favorite blend. It's a dark and rich blend with a hit of cardamom. It's so good with a touch of sugar and cream on a rainy day in the city.
Mons Brick: They took great care of me wet and confused in the rain today. Checked to see if my drink tasted perfect (it did)! And simple but epic breakfast burrito! Thx
15. SRO

9 Washburn St (at Mission St), San Francisco, CA
Cocktail Bar · SoMa · 17 tips and reviews
Haroen Viaene: This is literally the best bar ever. Every cocktail is unique and 👌👌
Will Bertelsen: Bespoke cocktails inside of Oddjob. I asked for a spicy whiskey cocktail and was beyond thrilled with the result. It had rye, two kinds of chillies, artichoke liqueur (presumably cynar) and more.
Angie H: SRO is to Oddjob what Hideout is to Dalva. It's a classy affair with no menu & a bartender who customizes your cocktail to your personal taste preferences. Expensive and cash only but worth it!
