Heather HAL: Ladies, a local secret at The Palace: they have elegant marble restrooms on the Lobby level, perfect for a quick touch up before heading into the bar, or elsewhere.

Trishia Pascobillo: Afternoon tea for two, with champagne was lovely. Had the 100 anniversary tea...loved the florals and warm scones :) The Pear finger sandwich was my favorite.
Bloomingdale's: There’s nothing more civilized than weekend afternoon tea. Especially if you consume the finger sandwiches and scones amid the splendiferous turn-of-the-century trappings.

Dens: They don't serve tea here. And if you ask, you will be shamed. I think you can order from the coffee bar upstairs if the line is long (tho I haven't tried this top secret tip yet)
Travel + Leisure: The Metropolitan Suites are nearly 1,000 square feet. Ask for room 2008, on the top floor: it faces northwest, which means a cube’s-eye view of Daniel Libeskind’s geometric Contemporary Jewish Museum.
Derek Brewster: you need to experience their signature Golden Gate Mary at the bar... best Bloody Mary in town :)
Tina Hui Tina Hui: Even the lobby can be an indulgent sanctuary. Sit in the lounge, order the steak Tagliate on the St Regis Lounge menu and the uni indulgent Staff Meal from Ame's menu. Enjoy the ambience.

Sarah Liz: Love getting my shoes shined at the shoe dept. on the 2nd floor at Nordstroms. Best shoe shine in town and only $3.50 for boots and $2.50 for shoes.
Yuri Kye: Best customer service = shoe salon! Only Bloomingdale's shoe salon is better. But the selection is probably unbeatable.
