Had the Cowboy Casserole, a breakfast you're not gonna find many places, and an espresso. They were both great. Nice area to sit outside and serving breakfast all day is always an awesome idea.

This place makes you feel instantly at home. The food is so delicious. Try the Ricki tiki (sloppy joe). This is is the best thing to happen to prefontaine. Make sure to stop in!

I recommend the Pescado Frito outstanding taste all around the plate.
Cuban sandwich is great.The warm bread is crunchy but not to the point where it'll cut up the roof of your mouth.the meat cheese, seasonings and spices work to perfection

The butternut squash enchilada is great, and the Sage cocktail is delicious - sweet without being too sweet, with wonderful tangerine notes.
Advertised as "Tex Mex" but it's not (IMO, and I lived in Austin for 20+ years) but it's damn fine Mexican food. Damn fine.

I always order the queso fundido con chorizo (instead of chips and guac). It is gloriously delicious.
Order the ridiculously-good guacamole. Don't worry- "market price" is about the same price as the other appetizers (~$8 when I visited).
This is a very well run restaurant with the best Mexican food in town and way above normal service. Get the steak tacos!

The Plantains are amazing! Comes with kickass guac and salsa. Also, if you enjoy steaks, the Capitolina Bistec is out of this world.

Mole negro is amazing. Bistec Capitalino also has a great red mole. Highly recommend trying the plantain chips and margaritas are great too.

Dave is a terrific bartender and is super knowledgeable about tequila. Go for late night happy hour and ask for a top shelf recommendation. You won't be disappointed.
Tequila-based drinks abound, but bar manager Ryan Minch draws on a variety of spirits, from whiskey to wine, while still staying true to the restaurant's spirit. Try the the Jack Swindler.
The natural margarita is delicious. They use FRESH limes and not the artificial sweet and sour crap :) I also loved the fish tacos. YUM!
