I love this place! The turkey pot pie is delicious along with everything else in the deli/grill section. I could spend every last dollar I have in there.
Coming here hungry could result in a very expensive deli purchase.
Slightly more expensive than other stores in the area, Metropolitan Market features a fine selection of wine, cheese, and produce. Its deli is also phenomenal - be sure to try the pork loin sandwich.
Monday nights are pie and pint night. Get a pot pie and pint for $15
If the soup de jour is the legacy chowder, get a bowl instead of a cup or you will feel a pang of regret! Amazingly well done! Yum!

Crab BLT with cheese amazing!
"One of Tom Douglas's restaurants—a particularly good one—exactly the one I need right now," as he ordered a fried egg sandwich with avocado and Dungeness crab.
House salad and Tomato Basil Bisque were very good. The little banquette in the front corner next to the piano is so nice to hangout at.
Absolutely fantastic establishment.

My favorites: lemon scone, pumpkin muffin, veggie quiche. All delicious!!

A little busy at peak times - Bloody Caesar was very tasty. Corned beef hash had tons of meat along with great veggies. Nice spot!

Dreamy, rustic ambiance & delectable brunch every time. The central communal table brings an intimate neighborhood party feel, and the freshest of fresh ingredients make me thankful this place exists.

Very good value (cheap/delicious) breakfast food. Very courteous and friendly staff.
The happy hour deals are great and the staff are wonderful. Highly suggested are the boxty cakes and anything with the corned beef.
The people, the food, and the perfectly poured pints of Guinness. One of my favorite establishments in the city. Excellent service from a staff who seems to really care about their patrons.
