By far, they have the best (and biggest) tortas in town. They are located on Beacon Hill...just a few blocks from the light rail station.

Great happy hour everyday from 3-6 and 9-close. Go with a $2 Tecate, and $5 tacos. Or spice up your night with a 32oz beer, and a shot of tequila for rent bucks. Oh yeah, chips and salsa!
The best Mexican restaurant outside of Mexico. Everything on the menu is delicious and authentic. I especially enjoy the guacamole, esquites, and the homemade chips. You can't go wrong here.
I always order the queso fundido con chorizo (instead of chips and guac). It is gloriously delicious.
Order the ridiculously-good guacamole. Don't worry- "market price" is about the same price as the other appetizers (~$8 when I visited).

Delicious bun! Black bean veggie burger has a crispy crust, so no mushiness. Build your own burger (peanut butter topping!) or stick with their specialties. Get a side of addictive thin, crispy fries.
Basic burgers with tip-top toppings and beautiful beef. Should be a classic for years to come.

Great bar w/ knowledgable bartenders. Get the chips and gauc while chilling at the bar before getting a table.
Dave is a terrific bartender and is super knowledgeable about tequila. Go for late night happy hour and ask for a top shelf recommendation. You won't be disappointed.
