Loved the sushi (apple salmon), the tacos and arroz con pata (yum). Everything was with a nice kick. I enjoyed my ginger cocktail, but wouldn't order the coconut again. Lively and hip atmosphere

The salmon bento box is a dream - excellent ingredients for the fish, dumplings, sushi, and especially the tempura, which is like the best onion rings in the known universe. Pounce.

The Shochu Lounge has great food & drink specials. Ask for Victoria (bartender), she's the best! Hands down my fave sushi in AZ and they have the freshest fish! Get the butterfish tataki
Sushi for white people. Id skip the sushi omakase and go for the tasting menu for two which had great hot items like a whole crispy fried fish and chawanmushi
Have the omakase chef's tasting menu, it takes 3 hours to eat at 22 items. Have the chef deep fry the fish skeleton that garnishes your sashimi garden, it's an experience you must have!!!

This place is fabulous!!! Best sushi I've had in Scottsdale. No wait no fuss. The ambiance is very "homey" and staff is well informed on all dishes and specialty items. Ask for the chopped wasabi !
