Best place to come any time of the day, from reading on a blanket, to having a picnic, or playing midnight croquet. Great place to bring your dog off-leash, too.

A beautiful palm-tree lined beach with volleyball courts, skate park, and boardwalk to walk, bike, rollerblade, or surrey along in the beautiful Santa Barbara sun!
Great less crowded and kid friendly beach with wonderful views in either direction.
Great place to read a book, or watch a volleyball game. There are more than a dozen volleyball courts set up here.
Opened in 2001 I used to shred this place. Some pros who frequent this park, Mike Santarosa, Tony Tieu, & Stacey Lowery.
Sunday's are very busy in the area because of a local art show on the boardwalk. Parking will be expensive and hard to find.
Take some nice action shots of the skaters and add them to the venue. Or take a vine video.
It's $6 for parking, but it's easy to park on the street and walk. Really up close to animals, awesome zoo
If the park is busy, don't buy a train ride. You'll be in line for 40+ minutes for the 20 min ride.
SEE: Make sure to visit the giraffes, with daily opportunities to feed one. EAT: The Wave, which serves a variety of tacos and quesadillas, centrally located w/ views of the water and mountains.
If you have Jury Duty show up early and park at the Garden Lot well worth it! If not you either pay for parking or have to walk 6 blocks.
The views are beautiful and the tour goes over a lot of the architecture of the building. It is a really beautiful place. Be sure to go when the Clock Gallery is open!

on Milpas the Habit is always busy & parking is limited... but it's a great walk from the beach =) so park at the beach and enjoy the walk up the street... my favorite is the BBQ cheeseburger w/ bacon
Super friendly staff, awesome owners! Make sure to know that high traffic times are between 12PM-2P almost every work day. Saturdays and Sundays are all day always packed!

Walk the paths and bikeway of this beautiful bird refuge, a 42-acre saltwater marsh home to many species of birds, including a variety of ducks and geese. Admission is free. Open Sunrise to 10:00pm.
