The food and service are great. I highly recommend the Chicken Marsala or Jumbo Raviolis. If it is your first visit, they will most likely give you a free dessert.
Pastas are great here, but let's talk cheese selection! 30 cheese from soft to blue cheese to hard cheese for $6-8 each and you can make your own cheese plate with figs, honey, walnut bread and more.

Truffle-lovers paradise. Get the risotto or carpaccio, but not both - that's just greedy. Classic fettuccine bolognese is delicious. Love the atmosphere here, especially the dramatic Italian accents.

Get there early! The line begins forming and the wait can get long. The signature sandwich has Mac n cheese and pulled pork inside. It is amazing!!

the farfalle la vecchia is fantastic - baby lobster, alba mushrooms, asparagus, and a light tomato-based sauce. i always substitute the farfalle for linguine.
This place has the absolute BEST happy hour in Santa Monica, but you HAVE to have a seat at the bar to enjoy. Really great priced pastas, salads and pizzas... and great happy hour wines. Yum...
Corn chowder, crab cakes, lobster pasta, ivy gimlets, followed by the apple and blackberry crumble will do just fine.
The lobster linguini is incredible and the crab cakes are my favorite in town.

Amazing food! I suggest ordering a bunch of small plates and sides. My favorites are the Jerusalem Artichokes, Balsamic Glazed Ribs, Endive and Persimmon Salad, and the Squid Ink Pasta with Octopus.
