I have had felafel pretty much in every single country in Europe with big middle-eastern communities but i had to come to Santa Monica to have the BEST felafel and gyro. EVER.
While Hungry Pocket is known for it's falafel, the Lamb Gyro is the real winner here: Warm wheat pita stuffed with strips of lamb, tahini, fresh tomatoes and lettuce.
It doesn't get much better. Best falafels and gyros I've ever had. And very friendly service.
Best steakhouse in town so far. Try baklava b4 meal, it is not like Turkish style, not a sweet though. Mashed patato with garlic sauce, it is a killer !

Pricey place but a lovely locale. The Kale salad with crispy proscuitto is choice and you can't go wrong with any dessert.

Oklahoma Bacon Cheeseburger and their tortilla soup is delish. Ask for light seitan when you order a OBC . Don't forget the lavender lemonade and agua fresca!

The lamb burger or French dip are pretty good. Can't go wrong there. Deviled eggs are ok. Egg rolls remind me of Philly cheese
The Avgolemono Soup (lemon, egg, chicken) at the Stop'n Cafe greek restaurant is a must try.
Great outdoor mall right in the middle of sunny Santa Monica with street performers and loads of shops, you can also visit the farmers market early in the morning until midday! Lovely place!

Edamame Dumplings are delicious. It's a good serving size (4 large dumplings in an amazing sauce) but i could have has multiple servings as I just couldn't get enough of their goodness.
You need to try the edamame dumplings. Don't think about leaving true food without at least one order of these babies.
