Tempura udon is superb, and prices are reasonable. Our waitress, Midori, was excellent. Aright to gozaumas, Midori.
Very reasonable prices! Shrimp tempura was a little stale but I won't complain given how much I paid - get the Lion King and Santa Cruz.
Sushi is fresh and save room for the tempura ice cream! Yummmm :)
Orange blossom roll is great for salmon lovers. Lobster tempura bento box is good.

The Yami Yami is ptetty good. Tempura ice cream wasnt all that.
Great selection of unique rolls, sushi bites, sashimi and cooked items like tempura and teriyaki dishes. Service can be a bit slow on busy nights although we were there during a big basketball game.
I always get a bento box for lunch, cant go wrong w/chicken Teriyaki and tempura, :)

I drive all the way from Santa Cruz for their sushi, as it's the best. They have THE best house dressing. Their "Titanic" roll is EPIC & you HAVE to try their tempura green tea cheesecake! To die for!

Ask for the Toro (fatty tuna). It's the best sushi over there by far. Also the tai and salmon skin are delicious. I totally recommend it.

Tempura is light and flavorful. Sushi was great. Service was fantastic! They have some good lunch and happy hour specials.
Saw a decent amount of gnats and other bugs around the restaurant. Also, their tempura looks more like beer batter.
Great happy hour. Good service. Good food. Love the new patio and outside bar. Wish it would open on Sundays. Overall a good experience and great addition to downtown SJ.

Dragon rolls and spider rolls are spectacular. Tempura is so-so but the snow crab should not be missed.

Incredible sushi! Simply mouth watering. I signed up for a free membership card when I was there which gives 15% off every visit. Will be back again and again, now that it's totally affordable.
Nabeyaki soup is too sweet for me. Tempura udon - shrimp tempura way overly battered, other components were good.

Don't get the shrimp tempura. It's the shrimp and some lettuce (wtf?) wrapped in rice. Not very good.

Special chirashi bowl is a good thing to get if you're willing to spend the money ($15). If not, the katsu don is really good too! The 'super bomb roll' is a really good spicy tuna roll. Gotta try!
