LeighAnne Riise: The Robalitto Soup is hands down the best minestrone I've had in SF. Best thing to do on a date: Both order soup and slit a pasta, like the vodka penne :)
BJ Davis: Best penne alla vodka in the country, hands down!
ashley tevatia: Grab a glass of wine while you wait outside (and there will most definitely be a wait, this place is walk-ins only). The penne and the tortellini w/pesto are amazing, as is the tiramisu.
Adam Ford: Get the penne with olive oil, garlic and sun dried tomatoes - then add Italian Sausage. You won't regret it!
Tina Hui Tina Hui: Incredible Italian food in SF. Order the Pappardelle with Rabbit Sauce, there's a reason why it won an award.
Andrew Cheung: Chris is an awesome bartender. Ask him for a shot of Cynar. After you eat the gnocchi!

nani escosteguy: Penne alla alrrabiata (?) delicious but it's hot. Take care if you dont like spicy food... Try all the wine you can
Bobby M: Owned by Francis Ford Coppola, director of The Godfather movies. The penne arrabbiata and Syrah wine, both at the waiter's recommendation, were awesome. Definitely coming back.
Erik Hess: Well done New York pizza and pasta! Sit along the windows and watch the city roll by.

Keith Smith: Great intimate place with wonderful food. Loved the penne with Italian sausage, mushrooms, broccoli and sun-dried tomatoes
Alison Walker: Nice relaxed ambiance here..Order the bruschetta and ceasar salad to start, both are so flavorful & amazing. Also recommend the lasagna and seafood pasta dishes..the tiramisu will melt in your mouth!
Bob Fleshman: This restaurant was run by an Italian family for decades. Ownership, management, and all the recipes recently changed hands--and the service is better. Get the L'Ottavo fettuccine!

Elizabeth Burstein: Plain penne w vodka and pancetta, and Chianti
Bill Tobin: Awesome meal, awesome service. We had the calamari appetizer and penne ala vodka. Fresh and authentic. Portions were enough to share between my wife and I. Tiramisu was the best I'd ever had. 👍👍👍
FuDz v4.0: This is easily the best italian place in the bay area! Warm atmosphere and amazing food :D
Micah Shotel: The verdura lasagna is amazing (all the lasagnas are wonderful but verdura is my favorite). For a change from lasagna try the ravioli alla romana... And get some bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
David Bishop: Quite an amazing menu for lunch, their specialty, with a dinner menu 'to go' from 3:30-6:30.
Yasemin Ozcan: You can't go wrong with their truffle ravioli, any of the lasagna, and caprese salad. After the meal, enjoy espresso made all'italiana

Rheya Shano: Really great food with perfect seasoning! Clam chowder, garlic roasted crab, and seafood penne, and even just the complimentary bread and butter were all delicious. The tiramisu was great as well.
Tyler Fox: Soup & salad combo is the way to go. Excellent clam chowder served in a fresh hot Boudin sourdough bread bowl, with an authentic whole romaine Caesar. Some of the best in SF!
Karen: Sit by the windows during the day and watch the sea lions sunning themselves on the docks below for added entertainment.
