Carnivores - don't dismiss the eggplant Parmesan. It's amazing!!
Some of the best Italian food I've had. Same sentiments from everyone in my group. The eggplant parm is built like lasagna, the daily special was awesome, and even the hamburger was fantastic.

a richmond classic! village's pizza is better, but the other menu items (especially eggplant parm) are great! lots of gluten free and vegan options as well!

They host some nice, Italian wine tastings. Not inexpensive, but good wines accompanied by some good snacks.

They now have GF bread and all the meat is freshly cut for each sandwich. Good quality and even better costumer service. Oh and beer & cider on draft!?! FTW

No bad choices here, this is a great “by the slice” spot in SF. Recommend getting the salsiccia for pizza, the chicken parm sandwich is a good option if you’re looking for something substantial.
They serves pizzas with perfectly thin and crispy crust, and the cheese melted in my mouth. Really appreciate their attention to detail in each topping! Highly recommended!!!

Good local grocery store with fresh produce and solid prepared food (especially like their made-to-order sandwiches). Also has a really great wine selection w/ lots of local wineries.

Besides the veal parmigiana which is definitely a must have, it's got by far the best service I've ever experienced in SF.
Food was alright, chicken parm came with potatoes not pasta.
Service can be slow but such a great family-owned Italian spot. Get the eggplant parm or salmon in parchment paper. Most entrees come with a side of tortellini - go with the white sauce.

Top Italian in SF for sure. Opera mood, old school italiana. Order the anti pasto, calamari, gnocchi with aurora sauce and for dessert Panna cotta, Profiteroles and the Tiramisu!
