Sit at the bar. The omakase is excellent and their nigiri menu is more eclectic than most places. Definitely a fan.
Sunomono, wagyu beef nigiri, and 7-course nigiri
Really impressive. Everything we ordered was unique and tasty. Don't miss the Oishitashi and the tempura eggplant. Nigiri are all wonderful - even the simplest avocado version. Nice touches all around
Go with basic nigiri and rolls
The truffled okra nigiri is my favorite bite of food but I like everything I have ever eaten there. Also unfiltered sake is really good with the meal

Their California rolls are made with real crab! The king salmon belly nigiri on the daily menu was super tasty as well.
Little shop with good service and a great vibe. All of the nigiri that we ordered were absolutely delicious (the Hokkaido Uni was the best uni I’ve ever had), and the chawanmushi was amazing as well.

The nigiri is awesome. Sit at the sushi bar and order the specials of the day. Reasonably priced for a good sushi restaurant in Hayes Valley.
Appetizer portions are generous and tasty. Get the firecracker balls and some nigiri and you're all set.

Great sushi spot in inner sunset. Recommend Romeo and Juliet, Agedashi Tofu, and Toro Nigiri. The rolls are packed with fish, so you get your money's worth. Go off hours to avoid the wait.
Best nigiri in the city. Look to their specials board for the freshest sushi choices. And also - free edamame!

While the nigiri sampler is the star here, don't skip small plates they are stellar.
Their 'small' plates aren't really small. Try out their hamachi Kama and nigiri deluxe!
Try the kobe nigiri. It's hard to come by being seasonal, but so delish.
Live Uni, blue shrimp and amaebi nigiris are amazing!! Love aji tataki and scallop mini burgers. Chefs special oysters are great too.

Great for dates! The sushi is incredibly fresh - favorites include unagi nigiri, sea bream sashimi, Ken's Roll, and Crispy Spicy Roll. Start with a happy spoon and the fried chicken.

Omakase is pricey, but delicious. Recommend getting the waygu and foie gras nigiri. Sooo good!
