My wife thought the spicy miso ramen was amazing. Being vegetarian, the vegetarian version was meh.

Cucumber salad, pork rice ball, chicken with garlic miso butter, and the house pickles are all winners. Not impressed with the karaage. Gyoza are overpriced.

Love their combo of beef and pork with spicy miso. Yummm. I like both ice cream flavors, but I typically go with green tea here and save red bean desserts for korean places. Nomz to everything!

Everything we are was excellent. The skewers (we had bacon wrapped mochi and miso scallops with leeks), the mushroom fritters, the ramen (with added pork belly and spicy miso)... You can't go wrong.
This take out place has amazing Asian noodles of many varieties for a very reasonable price. The Thai khao soi (rich coconut broth with noodles) is incredible, and the miso ramen is delicious.

The oboro tofu is made right when you order-! If the miso black cod or sardine sashimi is on the specials board--ORDER them. You won't regret it. Request mochi at the beginning because they run out.

By far my favorite grocery store in SF. They have a great selection of fresh sashimi for reasonable prices and also delicious pre-marinated miso mackerel that I definitely recommend trying!
