Excellent small traditional American restaurant with full bar and full service; Kitchen open until 1 am; The pepper steak, veal picatta, escargot and caesar salad are fantastic and classic.
Afternoon tea for two, with champagne was lovely. Had the 100 anniversary tea...loved the florals and warm scones :) The Pear finger sandwich was my favorite.

Rad staff, bottomless mimosas, a stellar brunch (hello, carnitas benedictos), and the most perfectly random juke box ever. Fun board games to rent. Outside back patio seating is always fun.

So happy to see this SF institution reopened! And the menu has kept many of the classics. Look past the exterior decor which are a bit reminiscent of a kitschy beachside seafood spot.
The place is under new management...food is not as good.
One of my favourite places in SFCO. I love to sit in the bar with a Bloody Mary and a burger. This place is a must.
Try the wild cougars. Off menu, but definitely in abundance and also the house speciality.

Pretty decent place on a taco tuesday. Both hard shell and soft tacos; beef, chicken, or pork, on the menu.

Roasted Duck w Chianti sauce, Seabass w capers in butter sauce and Lasagna w Bolognes sauce are my favorite. Follwed closely by Spaghetti Carbonara and Gnocci. Fresh gourmet food!

The food is excellent! Try the lamb chops. Do not miss the Brussels sprouts! For dessert try the Sour cake with coconut sauce. One of the best food I have had!

Skip the formal dining and head upstairs to the lounge. Comfortable seating with a full menu, excellent service, and live jazz. Try the braised brussel sprouts or anything with crab.
