Be careful at Room & Board. While the service & products -look- great, I've had problems w/ quality, including a rug that sheds so much that it almost fills my vaccum every time, fading leather, etc

My favorite, and probably the best, furniture and home decor store in the city. Bought my dresser here two years ago, originally made locally up in Sonoma. Gems abound.
Only place in the city where I could find Annie Sloan chalkpaint. They have a pretty good selection and seem pretty knowledgeable! Store is a bit of a hike to get to tho.
You have to dig through the jumble of clothes, but you're bound to find a gem. Nice inexpensive jewelry here too.
