Ray Lin: The Mezman is the perfect sandwich. It has everything I would want on a sandwich: pastrami, deviled egg salad, muenster, jalepenos, pickles and board sauce on hot-toasted garlic dutch crunch (!)
Brian Wrightson: The Mezman (romanian pastrami, deviled egg salad, muenster cheese, garlic dutch crunch, etc.) is maybe the best pastrami sandwich I've ever had. Also, you read that right: pastrami and egg salad.
Andrew Choi: The Mezman sandwich was pretty damn good (pastrami, deviled egg salad, muenster, cherry peppers, pickles, Board sauce, and on that amazing garlic dutch crunch bread), but sammies are hella expensive.

Michael DeLong: Egg salad & prosciutto sandwich rocks. Careful of those who try to order deli & be in checkout line at the same time. Rude!
Melanie Liu: Delicious bread baked fresh twice a day. Love their batard loaf and baguettes. Great selection of beer, chocolate and olive oils. Yummy salad bar and fresh soups.
Bennett W Wong: Their salad, pasta and soup bar is awesome! Craving for a meal with minimal grease? Come visit their salad, pasta and soup bar - you're sure to find something that will satisfy your healthy cravings!

Nico Pitney: Special, complex flavors in every dish. Loved the duck egg salad and the veggie stir-fried noodles. Squid dish was so unique -- very strong citrus paired with very strong spice. Julep cocktail was ok
Guillaume R.: A little difficult to find as the entrance is on the South-East corner of Mason and Ellis. Extremely flavorful and delicious, lots of great beers and bold flavors. The Namprik Long Rua is to die for.
Masshu: Entrance is at SE corner of Mason & Ellis
Erik Weber: Greek of the Week grilled eggplant sandwich on a dutch crunch roll. Yum.
Paulina: If you're ordering a Cobb salad, you might as well just go to Whole Foods and get a head of lettuce. Chop it up yourself, toss on some dressing, saved yourself $8.
Eamon Mulligan: Great sandwiches. Great people, and you can get coffee brewed by the cup.

Pierre A.: Delicious food, chill out atmosphere, this is what I call a neighborhood gem. Get the lentils and hummus bowl.
Demir Sel: Great gourmet food made in house. Always busy during office lunch hours due to the close proximity of UCSF. Johnny (owner) is down to earth, caring, and potentially will play a song on his keyboard.
A G: Some of the best sandwiches have been from this funny, little corner store. There's wi-fi, and say hey to David. He's great!

Adrian Phillips: The coffee here is excellent. Go with a Flat White. Order up some toast, because the bread is amazing. The almond butter with honey is greats. The herbed egg salad toast makes a great breakfast.
Spoon University: Their thick-cut toasts are generously smothered with anything from sweet seasonal preserves or savory cream cheese and herb blends. Get a cup of Four Barrel coffee to go with for the photo aesthetic. Read more.
Lane Becker: I love this place. The coffee, the toast, the subway tiles, the pretty, disaffected waitstaff, the sea of twee. I would nap here if they would let me.
Athena: It looks like a corner store from the outside but it's my new fave sandwich shop on the inside.
Darren Riesz: On the first day, God created Ted's, and it was good.
john lambert pearson: i really recommend their chicken sandwiches, their chicken dumpling soup, and their dolmas! delicious.
