Check out this open air campus. The entire building's structure that is designed to carve out picture perfect views of SF. Rivera mural is fantastic as are the current student installations.

Have a mojito, and a cigar, and enjoy the live Latin jazz. Sit in the courtyard under the heat lamp. Do not attempt to light your cigar with a lighter. See: wood strips.
On warmer nights, drinking in the courtyard is where it's at.

A historic property with a beautiful glass garden for breakfast. Their rooms have been renovated. They have an indoor swimming pool and a hot tub. Concierge is awesome!
There is no in-room coffee. I guess that is to support the olde world / European feel of the place? I thought coffee and free wi-fi were standard in the 21st century.
Up-scale dim sum ! good quality food, good presentation, friendly and comfortable, great location- SF, in restaurant, in courtyard (ceiling rain falls to pool), takeout shop. expensive $$
Pork soup dumplings were heavenly. Liked the shrimp roll and chicken mushroom dumpling too.

At the courtyard, go to other end where's a doorshaped hole in the wall. From there you'll get great view over the bridge.

A SF staple. A must visit if you haven't been. Book in advance to make sure you get the time and day you want to go.
My favorite bar in SF. Wide selection of beers and nice garden. Only downside is that the bar accepts only cash.
