Wow, this place is amazing. Brussels sprouts (OMG!), tea leaf salad (obvi), lamb curry was so tender and had wonderful flavors, and the cod and egg noodles (can't remember the name) are all delicious!
Asked the server for recs and everything was excellent: b sprouts, fried tofu, tea leaf salad, and miso cod noodles. B cooler for drinks. Friendly service. Happy hour 5-7 m-f
Miso cod noodles are spectacular, and very generous with the cod (especially if you are used to miso cod at Japanese restaurants)
Salt and pepper crab, beef brisket + turnip and the baked black cod are a must!

The Hanabi and the black cod dishes are amazing. Also, try the Rio cocktail. It's a caipirinha with beet and carrot juice. Amazingly delicious!!

The great homemade tofu made in a clay pot right there is wonderful, a whole new experience. And the black cod and eggplant are close seconds.
The oboro tofu is made right when you order-! If the miso black cod or sardine sashimi is on the specials board--ORDER them. You won't regret it. Request mochi at the beginning because they run out.
Broiled miso marinated cod is highly recommended.

Junior Fish & Chips A-MAZING. She uses fresh Cod, freshly battered and fresh real potatoes for the fries aka chips. Get the Baja sauce! The owner is wonderful!
The fish and Stinky chips (parmesan and garlic) were oily but not heavy and still crispy in the bag after a quick drive to the Marina. Nice flaky cod inside the just right batter was a little salty
