Ask for the chili oil for ya pizza! I wish the crust was a little airier. If they offer you seating at the bar, don't do it, it's super cramped.
Gnocchi tastes just like Italy. Raves for the cream of carrot soup and beet salad. Great, authentic Italian food, friendly service, intimate atmosphere. Highly recommend.

the Bruscetta & Stuffed Pepper antipasti special is fantastic, especially when it is extra spicy! I haven't had a bad meal here yet.
I had their special which was homemade raviolis layered in mini meatballs made of beef and veal. It was topped with cheese and baked.
My new favorite italian! Been here twice now. Must try the stuffed peppers. Good pizza and pasta, like the wild mushroom and the mare e monte. Quiet residential neighborhood, no crowds. Dinner only.

This is the most unique eatery I have been into in a long time. They hollow out Parmesan bread and fill it with a variety of pasta dishes. Absolutely great! Try it if your in San diego.
