You can sell books dvds cds etc for cash but they really are cheap. Theyll give you a buck for something theyll then sell for $15, for example.
They have a great, sexy, paranormal romance book section, terrific customer service and a great ambiance.

A living legend. This bookstore can do no wrong. The sweet creaks of the wooden floor & stacks + stacks of lovely literature make for a lovely trip to la Jolla. Farmers market + pannikin coffee=heaven
Prepare yourself because you can get lost in here for hours and not just perusing books. There are so many quaint and peculiar items on display among the shelves. Love this place.
the most precious place in La Jolla. the treasure is kept not in the jewelry shops but here and Mr Wills is keeper of this treasure who also kindly spreads it

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. The owner accused my 62-year-old mother-in-law of breaking a Disney figurine and immediately asked "How are we going to handle this?".
$1 for tons of older comics, or $10 for 12. They have new comics too of course.
