Best place in the Twin Cities! Come to the annual Japanese lantern ceremony. The sunken garden is the best thing here. Great bike paths!
The food is amazing. The restaurant was redesigned and is fancy, yet homely. It's very enjoyable. Music and plays during the summer.
Free music Mon-Thurs in the summers. Mostly aimed at the older generation, but still a beautiful place to sit outside and hear a free show if you like Jazz, Swing, Big Band, etc.
Of you're going to walk or run on the bike path at least go in the opposite direction of the bikes...just a suggestion.
Como Park has many trails for those peaceful nature walks!
Voted Best Park by City Pages in 2012! With a year-round conservatory, Japenese gardens, athletic fields, swimming pools, a zip-line, and a golf course amongst others; It's no wonder this park wins.

Great place for an early morning run.
It's a great farmers market. If you can get to it. I would suggest walking, biking, public transport, or better yet, go have wings and beer at Bennett's Chop and Railhouse, and catch their shuttle!

There have been a lot of break-ins -- even during the busy day. Do not leave anything visible in your car. They will smash your window with people right there.
