I was really impressed with the Crocker. It can really hold it's own with places like the MOMA and DeYoung. Huge! Great collection of California art. Will be returning.

Torch Club is on fire with smoking blues and other great live music. You see a great cross section of Sacramento every time you step through the door and gaze and the creepy clown art on the walls.
Can't go wrong with some groovy music and stiff drinks. Order any mixed drink and you won't regret it.

Japanese Internment exhibit was great. Not a ton of other stuff there but still a good, educational way to spend a few hours.
Take a look at the 2009 CA Hall of Fame exhibit with Lucas Star Wars film props and other fantastic items from this year's inductees.
A tour of this lovely 19th-century structure and its exhibits is a must. There are an incredible array of offerings here. Be sure to head to the Capitol basement for striking murals. Read more.
