There's no music like in most bars in USA and Europe,but still a nice (very informal too)place to go ("after the beach" like the locals do). Nice beers("chope") and delicious appetizers.A must trying.
Next to a draft beer, get a sun-dried meat w/ catupiry (type of cheese you only find in Brazil) patty, or the Brazilian way - "Empada de carne seca com catupiry" - you won't regret

Good meat, excellent sausage and trimmings and the tap beer served on iced mugs, maybe the best restaurant in Rio. I highly recommend a visit to this place.
All time favorite! Try the Picanha Braseiro if there for lunch/dinner or beer (chopp) with batata portuguesa. Rio's Trafalgar Square - if you want to bump into someone, that's the place to go!
