Had a delicious Icelandic sampler platter of mashed fish, smoked trout, smoked lamb, fermented shark, & dried fish. Definitely recommend it, & had a nice schnapps of birsk to complement it afterwards

I ve had an amazing cod, with smashed potatoes and vegetables! Really recommend it! And I also loved the butter with truffles they've brought with the bread! The staff is gentle and friendly!

You wouldn't go wrong with lobster soup! Try also one of the fish kebabs, from char, salmon to cod, oh and everything is fresh here! The potato salad is also a perfect side dish to the meal.

Delicious fresh seafood skewers with good flavor (though I recommend getting some of the sauces for the extra 100KR). If you get the potato one, definitely get the creamy garlic sauce!
Delicious and balanced meal at a really good price! My favorite meal in Reykjavik! Plaise (fish) with cherry tomatoes, capers, potatoes and greens. Yummy!!! Boullabaise was delicious too!

Fun spot for dinner right on the main strip. It's modern/eclectic food in tapas format. The So Not Pizza, JFC, and Pork Bun were amazing!

This place is the best bakery in Reykjavik. The apple pastry was divine. We had the potato and celery soup with the delicious sourdough bread!
everything here is so well done. tip though: if you stay at sand hotel you get breakfast/brunch included and it includes baked goods from Sandholt!
The sour dough bread here is great. Go for a sandwich, don't go for the soup, it's microwaved.
The Mamma Mia pizza is great, but the Vegan Platter is to die for! The soup it comes with is absolutely amazing and the sweet potatoes with the ginger sauce really round out the picture.
They have some good local dishes and pizzas made from sour dough.
Ask for tapas… the cod one is delicious.
The coolest place around for brunch and burgers. Delicious potatoes (wedges), full of little kids running around and great atmosphere.
The dirty breakfast is superb: scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, potatoes, fried tomato and yogurt with muesli and honey.

Really expensive, but worth it when in Reykjavík. Very nice. Get the fish sampler and try all three fish! Plus the garlic potatoes are to die for. Lamb chops were excellent as well.
Locally grown meat, straight from our farmers. The Icelandic Lamb is out of this world, you can taste the blueberries and arctic thyme that they eat during their outdoor life in the wilderness.
My favorite restaurant at the moment. Try the fish experience.
