Great selection of ice cream. I can imagine it's pretty crowded in summertime. They have benches outside where you can sit and enjoy your ice cream in the sun.
Great place to try small amounts of some of the more unusual old Icelandic foods like the basking shark dried fish. Yummy rye bread ice cream
Try the Icelandic plate - two rye bread slices, one with mashed fish & the other with egg & herring, and Loki's unique Rye bread ice cream.
If you want to be adventurous, this is the place to go:) They also have lovely rye bread and desserts if you want a nice snack.
Try the calamari tempura starter, simply awesome......and the cheesecake for an interesting twist on a classic dessert
The tasting menu is the way to go. 9 dishes. You better be hungry. Great service & atmosphere. It's loud on Friday night. Dessert is amazing!
The sushi is tasteful, do try the warm chocolate cake with Caramel, strawberries and condensed ice cream. On all, great service.

Amazing ice cream with a coconut option for vegans. The sauces and toppings (minus the white chocolate) are also all vegan. Delicious!

Icecream 'old style' is colder and more watery preferred by adults. Icecream 'new style' is more creamy and kids love it

Very good organic pastries with a constant short queue of locals buying bread, croissant, danishes, tarts and pains/croissants au chocolat. Grab a pastry and get a good coffee to go next door.
Great cookies and cinnamon rolls. Quite cheap as well so a god option for a quick, inexpensive and good snack on the go.
Chocolate croissants were great! Wish I got to have a cinnamon roll but they were all sold out by 1030am!

The friendliest place in Reykjavík. The staff is very welcoming. The soups and the Fisherman’s Favorite is delicious. They offer free refills and free sweets like donuts and brownies.
I tried the lamb soup and my boyfriend the shellfish. Both nice Icelandic dishes with great service plus free desserts
