Great waitstaff, tasty vegan grub, and a menu featuring dishes the South is known for. I have eaten at all the best vegan joints in NYC and FK holds its own in that crowd.
Tofu scramble is amazing. The gluten free pancakes don't taste like cardboard. Fluffy!

Wow, what's not to like. My favorite? The pistachio baklava! We had a great veggie wrap with hummus also.
Favorites: vegetable lasagna, roasted vegetables, black bean and chickpea salad, beets, pita pizza with the "works", pistachio baklava, ladyfingers...yah, pretty much everything here is good:)
Try the Mr. Green Jeans, vegan style. You'll be surprised how good broccoli and vegan cheese can taste on a pizza.
The veggie lasagna is amazing as is the pizza. Fresh, organic, and gluten free options. Its a small, charming spot and the wait can be long but CHILL out and enjoy your company. The food is worth it.

All I have to say is smokehouse sandwich on wheat, tomato and zucchini soup, black eyed pea & collard green soup, vegetable lasagna, breakfast hot bar, organic goodies, and friendly workers!

Great noodle dishes. I got the Malaysian curry noodles with blueberry wheat beer, which turned out to be a really great pairing. Tofu can be substituted for vegetarians. It's also a really good value!
