Salad nicoise, raisin nut roll and chocolate croissants are my favorite.
The line can be a bit chaotic and unorganized but it's worth it. If you see seats open up at the communal tables, try to snag them. The espresso, croissants, quiches and homemade jams are all musts!

any of these menu items is amazing and worth trying: raspberry croissant, kouign amann, espresso 31 (cake. so good.), ham/egg/cheese croissant, foret noir (black forest) cake.
really delicious but pricy croissants and cold brew (both $4)! at the end of the day they do buy one get one free pastries (get a plain and salted honey)

Friendly owner. Almond croissant have frosting on top which made it too sweet. Almond filling was delicious. The croissant wasn't as crunchy on the outside due to the frosting & it wasn't buttery.

A small and cute coffee shop with a cool french vibe. Great alternative to starbucks. The freddos and ice lattes were excellent. Nice pastries and the croissant i had was fresh and crisp.

All of their pastries & sweets look amazing. They taste good also. Their espresso drinks are good too. Be careful when ordering an espresso - the cup wobbles on the saucer & will likely spill...

Try their fake cronuts but look for the drier looking ones. Some are a little oily.
So I've tried the faux cronut, the potato bacon bread & the sticky bun - was none too impressed. The cronut was just too oily and the other two were nothing special. Better luck next time.

They're serious about coffee at Kinship Coffee Cooperative and prepare their espresso well: Stumptown Hairbender house blend and Ceremony, currently a Kenya, as single origin. Wifi, nice design (5/14)

A shop with rotating coffee roasters (some of which aren't our favorite), Astoria Coffee is an attractive, quiet, high-ceilinged space, run by friendly folks, with wifi, plugs, in an underserved area.
The Nutella croissant is amazing! Very friendly and nice atmosphere!
Italian rainbow cake (made with cannoli cream filling) stands apart!
Great bakery! Best Rugelach in Astoria and iced coffee! Breakfast sandwiches, cakes and other treats are also irresistible. Super clean and friendly staff help to make this little place even better!
