Highly recommend for any traveler coming to visit Portland. Centrally located hostel/hotel. The cafe/lounge downstairs is great. Rooms are simply enough. Rooftop is to see all of the city.

Great atmosphere. Sit outside there is great lounge seating and its heated for chilly nights.
Look for the ingredients in all capital letters—mizuna, arugula, radishes, green tomatoes, herbs—on the menu at this wine bar; it means they were raised in the rooftop garden.
If you are very lucky you might wrangle a secret night time chef's tour of the restaurant's rooftop veggie garden with spectacular views over the city.

The cocktails aren’t the best so stick to easy drinks. Rooftop is a hit and if you’re looking for a snack, get the lamb taco.
